Irion County ISD is seeking a Secondary Math teacher to provide students with meaningful learning experiences that build strong mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills. The teacher will plan and deliver instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and implement a variety of instructional strategies designed to support diverse learning styles and student needs. Responsibilities include developing engaging lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, maintaining effective classroom management, and communicating with parents and staff regarding student achievement. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to strengthen instructional practices and participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and campus initiatives. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and possess a valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate secondary mathematics certification.
