Provide consultations, referrals, strategic planning, direct care services, and disseminate information tailored to meet the needs of staff, students, and families. Manage a reasonable caseload of students with an added emphasis on family, parent, and guardian engagement. Accurately compile, maintain, and file reports, records, and documentation, ensuring compliance with all counseling profession confidentiality standards. Remain available during extended hours as needed, serving as a member of the ESC 15 Crisis Response Team. Conduct comprehensive suicide, trauma, violence, and risk assessments for students as required. Address students’ mental, emotional, social, and behavioral needs by providing individual mental health counseling. Collaborate closely with site administrators and counseling teams to coordinate, facilitate, and implement mental health services for students and staff. Deliver brief therapeutic interventions and crisis response services when necessary. Offer professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to educators, families, and community stakeholders with a focus on prevention, mental health, and wellness. Maintain accurate and timely progress notes for all client encounters. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and build strong, supportive relationships with all stakeholders. Exhibit flexibility and teamwork in collaboration with ESC colleagues and cross-functional teams. Maintain strict confidentiality in alignment with ESC policies and professional standards. Communicate and collaborate respectfully and supportively with parents, community members, and ESC personnel. Hold a valid Texas driver’s license and auto insurance; travel to provide home or community-based services and to attend meetings and professional development activities. Comply with all program expectations as defined by the Program Director. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, ECI Director, or Executive Director.
