Coordinate and oversee implementation of special education programs and budgets in compliance with IDEA-B and state regulations.
Provide technical assistance and support to LEAs on accountability, monitoring, and compliance processes (e.g., RDA, DMS, SPP indicators, Significant Disproportionality, MOE, eGrants).
Lead implementation of TEA ESC State Leadership initiatives and research-based practices aligned with regional and state priorities.
Design and deliver high-quality professional development and systems of personnel development based on regional needs assessments.
Establish systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting to support state and federal monitoring and program evaluation.
Support LEAs with evaluation, programming, funding applications (including Non-Educational and Residential Placements), and reporting requirements.
Promote interagency collaboration and integrated service delivery for students with disabilities.
Collaborate with ESC leadership and cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate regional initiatives and strategic goals.
Provide mentoring and supervision for ACP candidates and manage assigned personnel matters, including Level One grievances.
Stay current on emerging research, policy updates, and best practices in special education.
Perform other duties as assigned by ESC leadership.
