Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program, hold a valid LVN or registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners, and be certified by Texas Dept. of Health to conduct vision and hearing screening CPR Certification. Applicant must have knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defects, have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to implement policies and procedures. Two years nursing experience in a school setting preferred and/or in community health. Applications will be accepted until filled.
